Tackling Traffic at a Regional Level
Langford doesn't exist in a bubble. We must have strategic, consistent conversations with the Ministry of Transportation, BC Transit, the CRD, the Island Corridor Foundation, and the Sooke School District to secure safe routes to school and regional connectivity.
Protecting Regional Affordability
Langford has always been the region’s affordable place to live, and that identity shouldn't change. Keeping housing costs low and removing unnecessary barriers has always been a core value for our city.

City hall should maintain a building and innovation-friendly culture to ensure we keep creating vital, affordable housing options. At the same time, we have a duty to current residents to build complete communities where people truly want to live, ensuring new growth feels natural and welcome rather than overwhelming.
