  • Campaign aims at making post-childbirth care more accessible for B.C. moms

Posted on News by Staff Report · April 04, 2025 10:20 AM

Re-Elect Kimberley Guiry for Langford Council

The City of Langford stands on the traditional lands of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking peoples, specifically the Songhees, Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), and Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay) Nations, as well as the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations, all of whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

About Kimberley

From an early age, Kimberley’s family instilled in her a love of community and a desire to make the world a better place. From her background in Environmental Science and competitive rowing, to earning a Red Seal in joinery and raising her family in Langford, her diverse experiences have taught her the value of practical, hands-on problem-solving.

Since being elected to Langford Council in 2022, she has worked hard to modernize the city while keeping a sharp focus on fiscal accountability. Hearing the real concerns of residents facing tough tax environments, she is committed to balancing the initiatives that build community and make people feel connected, with cost discipline; ensuring Langford remains a place where families can afford to stay and thrive for years to come.
